Will has been practicing criminal law since 2016. As a Public Defender in both Arkansas and Washington state, he championed the rights of nearly 900 criminal defendants against numerous felony and misdemeanor charges. He successfully conducted 33 criminal trials and effectively negotiated hundreds of plea deals.

Will’s legal career included defending a wide variety of individuals including veterans, juveniles, individuals with disabilities, etc. Will also trained to work in high crisis/trauma situations.

Remaining cool under immense pressure comes relatively easy for Will given his service to our country in the US Navy as an Aviation Troubleshooter aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt where he supervised a 5 member crew. Will was awarded the Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal for superior performance.

Will graduated from the William H. Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas in 2015 with his JD. He has been a licensed attorney since 2016. He is licensed by both the Washington State Bar Association and the Arkansas Bar Association. 

In addition to law school, Will has taken advanced legal education in legal crisis management,  mediation and family mediation to better serve his clients.

Will is also a member of Washington State Defender Association.

Will served as a volunteer attorney at Legal Aid where he helped seal criminal records to minimize their impact on convicted defendants. He also served US veterans for 3 years in criminal diversion programs.
